Objects are interactive entities scattered throughout the stage environment.

Chests

Chests are breakable objects that usually contain Augments or pickups. Chests will never take less than 10 damage per hit, even if you have a negative ATK value. Very rarely, certain chests will have their contents replaced with a fountain of over 50 nuts.

Definitely not a crate.
Usually contains a small amount of nuts, HP, or NRG, but may instead rarely contain an Aug. Even more rarely may contain a large amount of nuts, around 50.
Spawns occasionally along the main path in a stage, including the pre-boss corridor.



Steel Chest.png

Slightly more convincingly not a crate.
Usually contains a decent amount of nuts, HP, NRG, or Armor. Sometimes holds an Aug instead.
Infrequently spawns in place of a Wooden Chest.



Golden Chest.png

Probably not just painted aluminum.
Always contains a Regular Aug.
Found at the end of side paths.



Bonus Chest.png

A special version of the Golden Chest.
Spawns in the post-boss room if you managed to get there before the Bonus Timer runs out.
Contains an amount of HP and Nuts that scales with level and sometimes an Aug.



Diamond Chest.png

Studded with hardened crystalline carbon.
Always contains a Weapon.
Very rarely spawns in place of a Golden Chest.



Core Chest.png

A variant of the Diamond Chest.
Always contains a Core Aug.
Very rarely spawns in place of a Golden Chest.



Boss Chest.png

Given up by slain bosses.
Contains an Aug and an amount of Nuts and HP that scales with level.


Vending Machines

Vending Machines, when activated, generally trade a specific amount of nuts for a certain pickup. Note that the payout can be the large version. (i.e. HP Vendors may drop a 3HP pellet instead of a 1HP pellet.) They occasionally spawn in stage and the pre-boss corridor.

Only spawns in the pre-boss corridor.
Has a small chance to explode upon use. Will produce nuts, health and rarely a Heart Container if the user has a Vendsmasher when it explodes.

Energy Vendor

Has a small chance to explode upon use. Will produce nuts, energy and rarely a Potato Battery if the user has a Vendsmasher when it explodes.

Vitality Converter
1 HP:1 Nut
Consumes HP and produces Nuts, not the other way around.
Can and will kill you.
Still affected by Nutsaving Stringwire.
Has a small chance to explode upon use. Will produce many nuts and rarely a Heart Container if the user has a Vendsmasher when it explodes.

Slot Machine
1 Token:1 Spin
Spinning the slots can give you Nuts, HP, NRG, Armor, or even Augs - both Core and Regular. Or it can give you nothing.
Only spawns in the pre-boss corridor.
Cannot explode.



Teleporters

Teleporters are objects which, when activated, take you to another area, usually to a corresponding teleporter. (Note that these are not to be mistaken for Frostor's Warp Points.)

Found in the post-boss room, and takes you to the next level. Does not link to a corresponding return teleporter.

Shop Teleporter
Found randomly in stage, and occasionally in the pre-boss corridor.
Takes you to the shop in that level.

Glory Teleporter
Sometimes found around the midpoint of the level.
Takes you to the Glory Room of that level.

Very Safe Lab
Found randomly in stage.
Takes you to the Very Safe Lab of that level, allowing you to claim a Prototype.
